New Month, New Goals

New Month, New Goals
Who else is excited about October?!🍂🌻
I love the start of a new month, because it marks a time when you can reset and refocus priorities. So before you keep scrolling take a moment to consider one simple thing you can add to or subtract from your workflow or daily routine that will shift your vibe 🌱
This month I will set out to up my water intake - yes this shouldn’t be hard … but it is for me, I will probably add flavored electrolytes. Maybe each time I take a water break I can also use it to be mindful that I am intentionally taking care of myself! Drinking water is an intentional task, not mindless anymore, because it requires removing my mask. 🚰
Shout out if you’re with me.
Let me know what you want to do differently throughout the month of October below.

The fall brings with it some of my favorite festive activities.
Here are my top 3:

Immunity Tip

Immunity Tip
Immunity Tip! Every morning when you layout you or your kiddos clothes leave an immunity roller next to your clothes or their clothes for easy access. (Let's be real ... they might only be changing into fresh jammies ... no judgment here).
Roll on the bottoms of feet and you are good to go, it is as easy as putting on socks before school it just takes the slightest bit of intentionality to create a new habit.
What are some immune boosting tips that have been helping you this fall?

I’m late to the game on this …
This week has been a doozy, even for 2020 …
These two are my life, they are good guys, they are kind, thoughtful, adventurous. Here they are pictured in front of Prohibition Spirits, Oktoberfest last year. Who knew it’d soon be a hand sanitizer company that employs them both.
Last night, while watching the debates, Noah says to me, they sound like Sam and I … that about sums it up. They were arguing like teenage brothers.
This week my energy is struggling due to fires and school closures and looking toward one of our favorite months, October, but with Friday the 13th and Halloween on a Saturday … I might be holding my breath.
Goodbye September - you’ve been memorable.

Jack London Park

Today we set out early, we wanted to beat the heat, looking at triple digits.
Overnight yet another fire started, it is in Napa. Napa has been hit hard this year. Looking at the wind we knew the smoke was coming our way so this only reinforced getting out early.
We got there when it opened. It is so nice to get out and be among the trees. We walked up to the lake instead of the Wolf House today. The smoke had already arrived, we took the hike anyway. The lake is empty, but the photos of what it used to look like are up there to remember.
Again for those of you who are not Sonomans, Jack London’s property is really cool, tons of history, although an economic failure for him in the end. It is worth a visit today. If you ever make it to Sonoma for a little wine tasting, spend a morning there.
"Across Sonoma Mountain wisps of sea fog are stealing. The afternoon sun smolders in the drowsy sky. I have everything to make me glad I am alive. I am filled with dreams and mysteries." - Jack London from John Barleycorn
